Below we’re going to summarize some causes (along with the solutions) of schedule posts problems that are often experienced by some users. Hopefully can be a solution for your problem.

Check Your PC/Laptop/Computer

a. Make sure your computer is active (turn on) at the scheduled post time.

Virol scheduled post system is straight out of your computer to Instagram. If your computer is not active (turn on), then Virol cannot work properly.

b. Make sure your computer is not in sleep mode as well.

If your computer is in sleep mode, then the programs cannot run properly. even though the browser is active.

Check Your Browser

a. Make sure your browser is active at the scheduled time.

Virol is a browser extension (plug in), so if browser is not active, Virol cannot work too even though the computer is active.

b. Always use the browser latest version, NOT beta version.

Usually, there are some bugs in browser beta version that cause error in virol.

c. Turn off the extensions related to Instagram, Cookies, and Traffic Blocking

for example, Instagram Downloader, ad block, everliker, and such. etc. Because those plugins are most likely to conflict and cause error in Virol.

Check Instagram Account You Are Using

a. Check whether it is still active logged in to your Virol.

Click Virol logo in your browser -> choose account menu -> see if there is text which say “session expired - please relogin”. If yes, you can try to relogin.

b. Check If You Can Post Normally to Instagram (Without Using Virol)

Instagram account can be temporary banned by Instagram, so the user cannot post anything. (it can happen until 2 weeks).

It usually happens if you were spamming, too many posts at a time, or you posted something violating the rules of Instagram.

Try to post something via Instagram app in your smartphone. If it cannot be posted or there is a missing post in your feeds, then it means your account has been temporary banned. Wait 24-48 hours.

c. Try to post using another account

If you can post your content in another Instagram account, then it means there’s nothing wrong with Virol. The problem is the account.

Check Your Internet Connection

a. Make sure that you are connected to internet and the signal is strong and steady.

Something when you feel your internet connection is not the problem because you can browse the web or watch youtube normaly, you need to check it more. Browsing the web or watching youtube is using download speed.

However, To post to Instagram smoothly, you need good UPLOAD speed.

You can check your download and upload speed in speedtest.net, and choose US server.

b. Check Instagram Website Response

Even though your internet connection is steady and strong, but sometimes it can be unstable too. Or Instagram website can be troubled as well.

To check the connection, you can open program terminal (mac) or command prompt (windows), then type: ping instagram.com

If you see request time out response, then your internet connection is unstable, or Instagram server is having trouble.

c. Restart Your Connection or Use Another Connection

Instagram is often strict about connection and your IP adrress. Server IP is ussually blocked by Instagram. Instagram require connection come from residential IP. Such as Biznet.
