Because there is a difference in the amount of followers and Instagram algorithms when the content is posted. <\/p>\n\n<p>The amount of followers will surely affect the amount of likes you\u2019ll get. And we can't figure out how many followers of that Instagram account when the content posted, let say 1 or 2 years ago.<\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, one of the ways we can use is by <strong>comparing the amount of interactions of one content with others in the same time period.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We can do it easily with one of Virol's features: <strong>Post Performace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3>Accessing Post Performance Feature<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Instagram account you want to analyze <\/li>\n<li>\n<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Jalankan fitur insights. (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/help.suite.id\/cara-mengakses-fitur-insights\/\" target=\"_blank\">Run <\/a><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Jalankan fitur insights. (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/help.suite.id\/cara-mengakses-fitur-insights\/\" target=\"_blank\">Insights feature<\/a><\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>analytics<\/strong> menu on the left of your screen.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and find the <strong>post Performance<\/strong> chart<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/analytics-performance.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n<p>In this chart you will see a variety of dot spreads in yellow and blue areas.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Dots<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Dots<\/strong> in the chart describes <strong>a post<\/strong> in a period of time with some amount of interaction. <\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Dot color<\/strong> describes the post type. Blue for photo, orange for video, red for album\/carousel, purple for IGTV.<\/li>\n<li>Hover your mouse over each dot to see a preview of the photo\/video. <strong>Click on the dot<\/strong> to open the Instagram page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Dot location<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>X-Axis<\/strong> (horizontal) is the time period. The more to the right, the more recent the posting time.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Y-Axis<\/strong> (vertical) is the amount of likes and comments The higher the dots, the more amount of interactions the content got.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Area<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Black line<\/strong> is <strong>moving <\/strong>average. it is the average interactions of previous <strong>30 posts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Blue Area<\/strong> (standard deviation) is the area of posts with normal amount of interactions.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Yellow Area<\/strong> (Standard deviation \u00b1 2) is the area of posts which has twice amount of interaction better or worse than normal. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Standart Deviation <\/strong>is one of statictics formulas to determine the <strong>normal range of data spread<\/strong>. You can learn more <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"di halaman ini (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mathsisfun.com\/data\/standard-deviation.html\" target=\"_blank\">in this article<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n<h3>How to interpret Data and Chart<\/h3>\n\n<p>To use this chart, you don't have to be dizzy with the above terms or find out where the calculation is from. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Just look at the position where the point resides.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>Posts located at:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Blue Area<\/strong> is a post with a normal range of interactions. Not good, also not bad. It just normal.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Area + 2 Standart deviation<\/strong> (yellow area above <strong>the<\/strong> black line) is a post which performs 2x better than normal range.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Area-2 standard deviation<\/strong> (The yellow area below <strong>the<\/strong> black line) is a post which performs 2x worse than normal range. <\/li>\n<li>Above (outside) The yellow area is an abnormal post, this is a potentially <strong>viral post.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The underline is, the higher the dots from the average line (black line), <strong>the better its performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2>Case studies<\/h2>\n\n<p>When I research content for my Islamic niche Instagram account, I found an old content in an Instagram account with its post performance analysis as follows. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image box\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"567\" src=\"https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/post-lama-1024x567.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/post-lama-1024x567.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/post-lama-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/post-lama-768x426.png 768w, https:\/\/help.suite.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/post-lama.png 1938w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>If you see in the graph, the interaction of that post is indeed not as many as its latest posts.
