These are Tips from one of the Virol users, Ali Nahdie.

If in the previous article was discussed how to find out the effective posting time from one spesific Instagram account, this article will discuss how to research effective post hours from multiple Instagram accounts in 1 niche so that the results are more valid and can Reliable.

The first thing we need to do is as follows:

  1. Search some accounts in similar niche. At least find 20 competitor accounts. At least the followers are 15k. Also check when their Last post. Because there are some accounts who are not post regularly.
  2. Take note to all competitor accounts. You can use Excel or just note down in a paper. Its up to you.
  3. Visit each account we noted and run Virol insigths feature by clicking on on the Insights button next to follow button in their profile.
  4. If the results already appear, take the top 5 charts, and give it a sign of H, H2, H3, H4, and H5.

See the following image:

  • H is the first highest chart shown from the analysis results
  • H2 is the second highest graph shown from the analysis results
  • And so o

Do an analysis like this on each competitor account and note the results in Excel. Like this:

Note: The number 1-24 is the hours.

From the image above, from the 26 competitors we analyzed, they upload in 11.00 and 15.00 (the highest number of H). That is the best time to post for that niche.

Then what are the functions of H, H2, H3, H4, and H5?

So we don't have to exactly post our content in the best hours (label H), but also in other hours (the label H2-H2). Before posting we can see the table that we made to determine the posting time.

Post more often in best hours, and also on other hours.
